On October 22, One Coast premiered the first episode of its brand new “In-the-Kitchen Series” — a cooking show on Instagram Live featuring local chefs and filmed in Townhome 604’s oceanfront kitchen. The special event invited guest Chef Molly Kruger — corporate chef for Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove — to guide viewers through a step-by-step tutorial on how to perfect her seared citrus and lemongrass scallops while using One Coast’s Wolf® gas range, double oven and griddle. Raised in Pacific Palisades, Chef Molly has a wealth of experience working with Southern California flavors. To prepare for her coastal-inspired dish, Chef Molly sourced locally grown, seasonal ingredients from the nearby Santa Monica Farmers Market, including beluga lentils and an array of fresh herbs. The result was a divine grain bowl featuring seared citrus and lemongrass scallops, heirloom poached beluga lentils and watercress and herb salad with avocado sauce. While the artfully plated dish certainly looked complex, One Coast’s kitchen — fully equipped with Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove appliances — made this recipe a breeze for novice and expert alike.
