In an effort to protect one of the greatest amenities at One Coast, Sunset Point Beach and its coastal shoreline, the oceanfront community has partnered with The Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles to bring attention to the organization’s efforts and to adopt nearby Sunset Point Beach. As part of the adoption, One Coast will be hosting a series of bi-monthly beach clean-ups, starting this Sunday, October 24 from 10 am – 12 pm.
Known as a popular neighborhood surf spot, especially for its long rights during southern swells, Sunset Point Beach also offers sweeping golden shores perfect for beach walks, sandy yoga flows or soaking up the Pacific Palisades sunshine — all located steps from One Coast’s doorstep.
“For One Coast residents, Sunset Point Beach marks home. We couldn’t think of a better organization to support than Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles to help protect this cherished natural playground set right outside One Coast’s doorstep.”
– Bree Long, etco Homes SVP of Marketing
The Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles is dedicated to protecting this very playground — the ocean, waves, and beaches that provide us all so much enjoyment. One Coast is incredibly proud to partner with the organization, which continues to fight for the beaches we cherish through a powerful activist network.
Ahead of the upcoming beach clean-up, One Coast’s partnership with The Surfrider Foundation L.A. first kicked off with a philanthropic event this past September, which united developer etco Homes, The Agency and ocean lovers from around Los Angeles for a live auction, beautiful sunset reception and more. The event, One Night at One Coast, proved to be a tremendous success and exceeded its fundraising goal with a total of $30,000 raised for The Surfrider Foundation L.A.
