1. Palisades Village Live Music

Come enjoy live music on May 29 from noon to 4 pm — and maybe dance a bit too! A variety of performers will be making their way through Palisades Village for a festive afternoon in celebration of Memorial Day.

2. MAINopoly: A Taste of Main Street

For those seeking fun, games, and eats under the SoCal sunshine, don’t miss the annual “MAINopoly: A Taste of Main Street.” The event kicks off in Santa Monica on Sunday, May 27 at 1 pm and continues to 5 pm. This monopoly-inspired event invites all ages to play classic board games for access to tastings at 20+ participating locations, plus the chance to win free prizes. A portion of the proceeds will go towards funding The Main Street Business Improvement Association community programs. Monopoly-themed attire is encouraged!

 

 


 

3. Ferris Wheel Lighting at the Santa Monica Pier

From Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29, catch the nightly Pacific Wheel light show from 7:30 pm to midnight, with views from Pacific Park or the surrounding beach areas. The Pacific Wheel will be lit in dazzling red, white, and blue colors, showcasing an animated, waving American flag in honor of Memorial Day.

 

 


 

4. Topanga Days Country Fair

The special Memorial Day weekend festival at the Topanga Days County Fair runs from May 27 through 29 from 10 am to 7 pm, offering a parade, food trucks, live music, and classic carnival games – from sack races to egg toss. A fundraiser for the Topanga Community Center, this community event is a true local favorite, drawing Los Angelenos from near and far.

5. Fiesta Hermosa

Escape to Hermosa Beach for a spectacular arts festival featuring a lineup of live musical performances, comedy, a food fair, 250+ street vendors, art walks, carnival rides, a petting zoo, a sunset disco, and so much more. The Fiesta Hermosa festival will take place all Memorial Day weekend, from May 27 through May 29.
