When Pacific Palisades is home, the best of Los Angeles — and its many iconic holiday celebrations — await within effortless reach. And this year, whether catching the fireworks in Malibu or hitting the boardwalk in Santa Monica, 4th of July is sure to be as sparkling and star-bangled as ever. See the not-to-miss LA festivities, all set within moments of One Coast, below.
Cheer On the Pacific Palisades Parade
Pacific Palisades’ 4th of July parade has long been a cherished local tradition, drawing Los Angelenoes from near and far to witness its array of festive floats. This year, the parade will kick off at 2pm with a WWII fighter plane flyover. From there, baton twirlers and marching trombonists will lead the parade along Sunset Boulevard, beginning between Via de la Paz and Drummond.
Watch the Light Show at the Santa Monica Pier
Nothing screams July quite like roller coasters, cotton candy and warm, ocean breezes. Visit Santa Monica Pier’s Pacific Park for games, rides and a front-row seat to the ferris wheel’s red, white and blue light show.
Catch 4th of July Firework in Malibu
The perfect way to end any 4th of July celebration? Fireworks, of course. Zip over to Malibu to witness this year’s fabulous show light up the night. While the display is expected to begin at 9pm, we recommend arriving a little early for good seats — and a front-row seat to the sunset.
